About Daniel J. York 

Daniel is a Christian man who came to faith in Christ during a season of profound brokenness. At the age of 13, he went through a traumatic event that completely turned his world upside down. Yet, it was right there—in the middle of the pain and the wreckage—that God found him and rescued him. Daniel knows life’s deepest difficulties firsthand, and it is out of that rescued heart that he seeks to encourage others today.

He is happily married and the proud father of three wonderful children.

Over the years, Daniel has found great joy in blessing those in their later years. He spent a significant season serving at an elderly home once a month through his local evangelical church in Bickley, where he led worship, taught Bible studies, spoke to the residents, and spent time praying with them. Daniel also taught as part of the childrens Sunday school for many years. 

Driven by a lifelong love for studying the Bible and church history, Daniel carries a deep pastoral heart for people to know Jesus intimately and to be encouraged in their daily Christian walk. God has uniquely equipped him with a gift for allegorical storytelling, which he uses to bring scriptural truths to life.

Through his website, Daniel blogs about his creative projects and uses his digital space to unpack the deeper mysteries of Scripture in a rich, devotional way. His mission is to use the creative tools he has been given to point eyes away from the noise of the world and directly upward to the King.
